It has the StormWash setting, which is so great, and cleans everything so well, the 3 racks are adjustable and there is so much room space to load all the dishes and pans. I love how the dishwasher is so quiet, that sometime i barely know if it's on or not, but this is where the SmartThings app come in! It is so easy to set up, connects so fast and Oh boy i am able to control it, get notification once the dishwasher is done, and the best part is that the door pops open to air dry. How can you not love this! Now i always look forward to doing the dishes. I would highly recommend, this dishwasher.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This Samsung dishwasher is amazing! We replaced our old dishwasher after 8 years and didn't realize just how loud it had gotten and how dirty the dishes were coming out. This dishwasher is only 46 dBA which isn't even loud enough to hear in the next room. The auto cycle takes about 2 hours to complete and has many other options including heavy if you have dirtier dishes. The StormWash feature is super handy as well for a pot or pan that needs extra power to clean. My overall favorite feature is the 3rd rack for silverware which eliminates our need for the huge basket in the bottom rack. This frees up so much room! We can fit a full day's worth of dishes which for my family of 4 is a lot! The dishwasher door opens when the cycle is complete to allow it to vent properly and to show you the cycle is over which is very handy. The overall look and materials it is made out of are very durable and beautiful. Very resistant to fingerprint marks (which with 2 kids is needed!) 5/5, would recommend to others (and have already!)

I had the same model and it got a leak i couldent fix after 10years. I got the new version and was able to swap thr front pannels so it matched the rest of my Samsung appliances. so very pleased with that.

I like to wash the dishes when I go to bed, but the kitchen is near the master bedroom. I could hear the old unit, and it bothered me. his one is very quiet. I love the third shelf, it makes cleaning small items easy. The smart things app works well, and allows one to turn on and off. I also like the different cycles, as sometimes I just need a quick rinse rather than a deep wash, but when you need a deep clean Storm Wash is cool. A silly part I really like is that the door pops open when the cycle is done. It is a nice visual cue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just remodeled my kitchenI and recently upgraded to a new Samsung dishwasher which includes a third rack and has a fingerprint resistant finish. The stainless interior looks great and the benefits are clear: it not only frees up valuable space in the lower racks for larger pots and pans but also ensures a more organized loading experience. The coating on the bottom two racks is high quality so I expect a long life out of this dishwasher. I chose the stainless exterior with Storm Wash, and I’m very happy with my choice. The controls are easy to use and have many options. Being able to run a short cycle helps to keep my utility bills lower. The 46dBA rating is also quieter than my last unit. I’m glad that Samsung has added a third rack. Another nice feature is that the door pops open by itself at the end of the cycle to aid in faster drying. Also, the StormWash feature is great for those large and heavily soiled items. The SmartThings app for your phone is easy to set up and has a fast connection which then allows you to remotely start, stop, or delay your dishwashing cycle.. This Samsung Dishwasher is a great addition for any modern kitchen. I highly recommend it.

Easy to carry and door handle is firm to pull. 2. Functions - Display of functions are placed very well from the viewing angle and avoids you to stuggle. 3. Cleaning - The cleaning technology is remarkable, pots, plates and pans can be wased very easily and gives you an immaculate result. 4. Once the dishwasher completes its cleaning cycles, the door pops up giving you an alert that the wash has been done. Above all, it is a great product to be recommended to family and friends and i am enjoying it to my fullest with the convenience it has in it. in moving yI am very impressed with my Samsung dishwasher. Visually it’s very sleek and modern in appearance. More importantly it does a fantastic job cleaning dishes. Some of the most notable things I’m pleased with are how quietly it runs, how clean the dishes are, and how dry the dishes are. I also really appreciate the adjustable upper rack that can be used for flatware that does not fit or might fall through the traditional cutlery rack. The auto release dry feature is the feature I didn’t know I needed, but I think is pretty fantastic. When the dishwasher is done cycling it pops open. Not only does this help ensure the dishes are fully dry, but it’s a great visual reminder that the dishes are clean and should be put away.

So, we got our hands on this new dishwasher, and let me tell you, there's a lot to like about the Samsung Smart 46 dBA Dishwasher with StormWash (DW80CG5451SR). First off, it's got that sleek stainless steel both inside and out, giving it that modern vibe that fits right into any kitchen. And can we talk about the space? This bad boy's got a massive capacity, perfect for when you're hosting those epic dinner parties. But hold up, it's not just about looks and size. This dishwasher takes "quiet as a mouse" to a whole new level. Seriously, you could have a conversation right next to it, and you'd barely notice it's doing its thing. And here's where it gets kinda sci-fi: the Bluetooth tech. You can kick off a wash cycle from your phone, and get this, you'll even get a ping when it's done. Fancy, right? Now, before you think we're all sunshine and rainbows, there's a little hiccup. See, they only gave us a quick start guide or a Simple User Manual, but what we really wanted was a personalized manual just for our unit. Simply scanning the QR code didn't help and we had to play detective online to get the real scoop. Not exactly a smooth start, but Google was our friend as our model wasn't on the Samsung website per their instructions.. And here's where our patience got a bit tested. We're all for saving the planet and all, but we had to cave and use a rinse aid. Turns out, the dishes were on a mission to stay wetter than a dog in a rainstorm. The cycle time? Oh boy, be prepared to wait a solid 2 hours and 22 minutes. And just when you thought it was over, it's not – the door pops open to air dry. Without that rinse aid, you might as well start counting the hours; it's like watching paint dry, but less exciting. Seriously, we had to let them air dry for almost 24 hours. We now own a bottle of Finish Jet-Dry rinse aid - and I'm not a huge fan of adding even more chemicals to our home, but the machine works best with it - as the manufacturer suggests. Now, don't get us wrong, this dishwasher isn't too shabby. But truth be told, we might just be those "old folks" who aren't fans of change. So, yeah, it's cool and all, but let's just say we've got some mixed feelings.

I just bought this dishwasher. In description it said it has adjustable times. It does not. My previous Samsung dishwasher would allow me to lay tines flat on bottom basket when I needed to adjust for pots and pans or to adjust in general. That is not available in the one even though description say it does. The gaps on the bottom basket are very large which allows items smaller than plates to fall through. Other than these problems it works fine. Very disappointed with bottom basket in this machine.

It looks great in my kitchen with the sleek design and shine of the stainless steel. It blows my old dishwasher out of the water in both cleaning performance and quietness. There are numerous cycle options and wi-fi connectivity. The StormWash feature is great for those large and heavily soiled items. It even opens by itself at the end of the cycle to aid in faster drying. Highly recommended!!

Being Samsung phone users, we were leary about venturing off into the appliance world. The dishwasher we chise had a decent sound rating but also included a third shelf. After we set the dishwasher up on the SmartThings app, I learned you can download extra "programming" for the dishwasher. One of the downloadable settings is the door will pop open after the run cycle is co.plete to facilitate further drying of plastics. Very nice addition!! The dishwasher cleans better than any dishwasher we've owned, and I've tried all the brands by now. Do not hesitate at all with this addition if you are looking to replace your dishwasher.

That story is for some other day This nice new good looking Samsung dishwasher does its job perfectly Something new and noticeable is bottom heating element is not accessible or visible to us anymore Then door opens to help vent out, good about that is you can change that default opening behavior if you like for some reason 3rd rack is there but I preferred to keep it out since it doesn't dry that good (just once I tried) and its better to adjust main 2 racks without it Finally its quite as it can be just some pouring sounds It keeps new car smell for week plus. 1 hour cycle works pretty well but normal 2+ is what I use Go ahead and get one

Love that! also, I've been using the stormwash function deliberately because I get a lot of cups with the hardened on milk (yuck) Stormwash function absolutely cleans off all that, so I don't have to soak and scrub ahead of time. I can't actually say enough good things about this - the extra third rack - genius! frees up space in the rest of the dishwasher for other stuff. Finally - I love so much that it pops open the door when the wash/dry cycle is finished. My last dishwasher was not drying anything - such a pain. This Samsung fixes all that. Very happy about this.

Definitely helps to dry dishes better. Also love the two upper racks! We adjusted the 2nd rack a bit lower and we can fit out glasses easily. Very top rack is great for our spatula, etc. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that sometimes a few dishes don't clean well, then I have to rewash them and clean out the bottom filter. Also plastic cups and Tupperware don't dry that well, but everything else does. Overall compared to other dishwashers I've had, I am really happy with it and love it!

Compre este producto en el buen fin, funciona bien, solo con los sartenes al ser grandes no los limpia bien (no importa el gel o pod que le ponga), también hay que saber acomodar los trastes porque si no el tsmaño puede quedarte corto. Después de rogar que lo instalaran por dos semanas. El lavaplatos no lava bien ni seca los platos. Dos días despues de instalado me dicen que toca estar otra semana para el servicio técnico se digne a mirarlo. Es la peor compra que he hecho. Mi lavaplatos anterior, lo instalé durante pandemia y funcionó fantástico desde la primera vez. Con el tiempo perdido con el servicio técnico de Samsung habría lavado yo misma los platos y habrían quedado mejor. Aparte me habría ahorrado la plata.

Compramos el producto por Internet, llega sin mangueras, ni dispositivos para coneccion (no dan esa información cuando se compra), requiere obligatorio la contratar el servicio técnico de sansung que tiene valor adicional ya que son quienes venden las mangueras de coneccio. Mal servicio y engañoso ya que no viene completo lo que funcione.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have tested the Samsung Smart 46 dBA Dishwasher with StormWash DW80CG5451SR, Stainless Steel, I have about fifteen days using it, and I have already been able to test most of its functions and I have seen how well it works, it is quiet, spacious, brings three levels to place the dirty dish to wash, the first is thin for delicate and small utensils which is great because I no longer have to wash by hand that kind of stuff! You can also choose to use only the bottom level for washing, which allows you to wash a small amount of slabs and save water... Another thing I liked is that their trays have been designed in such a way that you arrange the dishes and none of them are stuck to each other, ensuring that the soap and water circulate on all sides. The middle tray ensures that glasses, small plates and the like stay firmly in place and the spaces are wide and my wider glasses fit perfectly. For the placement of the cutlery it has a basket very well distributed in spaces, it has two spaces to place thick-handled cutlery and several with holes where thin-handled cutlery fits, those can also be opened if you wish. The only thing is that this basket can only be used in the position in which it is, I mean you can not move it to another position because it does not fit anywhere else. It is easy to clean and fingerprints are not marked on the outside, to clean the internal filters is super easy and they are very thin which ensures that they trap very fine particles and thus protect the pump well! I also installed the application to control it from my cell phone, to be honest the process was not very friendly but after several attempts I managed it... In it you can control the inventory of your detergent and it notifies you how much you have it, in the same way I was able to activate the Energy saving AI mode which is great (but I'm not sure if it also saves water?), in short I am very happy with the Samsung dishwasher, thank you The Insiders for the opportunity to participate in this campaign!

The different wash programs are super useful, and being able to control it through the SmartThings app is a big plus. It’s also really quiet, which I appreciate. The cleaning power is solid, especially with the StormWash™ feature. The only downside for me is that it doesn’t completely dry everything—some dishes still come out a bit wet. Not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind.

When sitting in the living room right next to the kitchen, we can barely hear it when nothing else is on. If the TV is one, we never hear it. We did a test, to see how well it would get dishes clean that had food still stuck on them. When the cycle was over, the dishes we tested with were spotless!! Our other dishwasher could never accomplish such a thing. We are extremely impressed with the dishwasher and the installation services from Samsung.

Quite, cleaning power, settings, informative communications, etc. What I enjoyed the most was the ease of installation. I purchased three appliances at the same time and opted for Samsung installation on the 2 easier jobs but mistakenly omitted the potentially most difficult dishwasher. The install instructions made it easier along with a big helping hand from my son.

The install was straight forward for me (chose to DIY) as it came with everything I needed to complete the install. So far, I have only used the 1 hour wash cycle as a starting gauge to see if I would need to try different options. Even with the 1 hour wash, it does a great job and haven't found myself having to try other options yet (could be due to my habits of prep before loading the dishwasher so YMMV). It also is compatible with Samsung's SmartThings app so you can also help control it via smartphone which is a nice feature. I like how it chimes at any inputs and shows estimated time of cycle. When it has completed a cycle, it will pop open at to aid in the drying process. I also appreciate the very top rack where one can put utensils. Overall, am impressed.

The dishwasher looks elegant, has steel structure inside and has so many wash cycles to choose from. The feature I love the most is auto open , so the dishes get dried with the air too. There are three dish racks and you can also adjust the height of one of the racks. The dishwasher is as quite as it can be, you won't even notice it's working. The thing I like most is it's auto open function.

It makes it very easy for the dishes to dry without using electricity. The cycle is very quiet. It's helpful that it interfaces with SmartThings so we get notified when the cycle is complete. We're using the 3rd rack for our silverware - it is easier to sort it on the rack, then grab the dry silverware to put it away quickly.

I also like the color and how finger prints don't show up. Especially having two kids that love to touch it. My only thing that I wish I knew when I bought it, is that is takes really long to dry. I do wish they had the heated dry cycle. Rinse aid is your friend if you buy this. Other than that, it works great.

Our only complaint is the lack of a clean indicator light that so many other dishwashers have. When the cycle completes, it beeps and opens, which is awesome, but how do you know it is clean? Other dishwashers have a very helpful light that goes out after you empty the dishwasher and close the door. Did your design team assumed that someone is standing there and sees it happen, is the same person who started the cycle (not valid in a large household) and does not wait for it to cool before putting things away and has perfect memory? This is a huge miss for Samsung, very disappointed. We are now taping a "clean" sign on the door handle when we start a load and remove it when we finish emptying it. This works but is not a good consumer experience when an industry standard was seemingly just not included for some reason. Otherwise, great product so far!

Will no longer use any Samsung products. We've had multiple difficulties with product breakdowns. Although these products were bought from Costco, the follow-up is with Samsung who does not extend their warranty like Costco does. Also multiple communication difficulties very nice customer service. However, the products are the problem as is their current system. Products such as the dishwasher broke right after the warranty ended.

We love the auto open feature at the end of the cycle which enables dishes to finish drying so we aren’t putting wet dishes in our cupboards. Our only concern is that it is sometimes hard to hit the exact right spot on the touchscreen on the top to change cycles or set the delay. Not sure if this is a problem with the dishwasher or us just learning where the right spot is.

It's quiet and unintrusive while in the kitchen. It opens at the end of the cycle to assist in fast drying. The integrated handle is curved with no pieces that stick out to catch clothes or run into. This is a sleek and stylish unit with some great features. Unfortunately, most of that becomes ineffective if you can't wash dishes in the dishwasher. In fairness, you can wash dishes, but you cannot wash dinner plates. Standard dinner plates measure 11 inches across and cannot be loaded in the dishwasher without interfering with the upper spray assembly. This seems to come as a result of Samsung adding a third rack which (IMHO) is completely useless and offers nothing to offset the limited space on the bottom rack. Consequently, since purchasing this appliance, we eat off of paper plates or wash the plates by hand, which kind of defeats the purpose of buying a dishwasher. Warning to future prospective buyers, check the interior space in your dishwasher and don't believe that manufacturers have actually considered that which homeowners actually value - being able to wash their dishes and plates.

My old Samsung dishwasher died so we replaced with this one. The washer itself is great so far. My disappointment is in the fact that in the specs I read, It said the bottom rack had folding tines but in fact does not. My old one did and that was the selling point on why I picked this one. I’m surprised Samsung would not deliver what was in the specs.

However the only thing it lacks is a super strong drying. The dishes are usually not fully dry when it opens up and need additional drying agents. This is a step back in my opinion. The machine is decently laid out and good value for the price. A few things I don't like: The racks don't slide that well. The rack layout is lacking. The bottom lack doesn't allow many options for dish configuration, so it's a bit limiting on what you can put below. The slides seem a bit flimsy, hopefully they last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently upgraded to a new Samsung dishwasher that includes a third rack, a feature that really helps the smalls-heavy dishwashing that we have (knives, silverware). Along with the all stainless interior which looks great, the benefits are clear: it not only frees up valuable space in the lower racks for larger pots and pans but also ensures a more organized loading experience. No more fumbling to find space for extra cutlery and flat items. The coating on the bottom two racks seems high quality as well and I expect a long life out of this unit. We chose the stainless exterior with Storm Wash, and couldn't be happier. The controls are easy to use and have many options. Being able to run long or short, sanitize or not helps with our utility bills and supports eco-friendly living. The 46dBA rating is also quieter than our last unit. In summary, Samsung's dishwasher with a third rack is a testament to convenience, organization, and sustainability, making it an excellent addition to any modern kitchen.

This dishwasher has a large capacity and many great cycles including sanitizing. Very quiet and the door opens when the cycle is complete. The top level is great for washing cutting boards that are safe in dishwashers, The storm wash cycle is a must.

Well, Its a 3 step process to start the dishwasher. Press power? I am not sure why, the unit has power going to it, in a constant state. Select the cycle (and that should be it after you close the door). Nope, now you have to press Start, before, or after you close the door. And if you open it during the cycle., you would think closing the door would have the unit start back up? Nope, now you have to press start again ( in case you changed your mind). The lower rack doesn't have enough cross members, so you might need to take extra time making sure that the handles from your pots and pans are not going to obstruct the lower propeller. There is a top rack for utensils, and then a "space eater" of a basket on the lower rack, that I'm having a hard time purposing. So I took it out. Any lids that are plastics, have NO WHERE to go. Except being put out on the top utensil rack (flat). Or the light items will be thrown around by the water propulsion.
