I am absolutely LOVE my Samsung fold 8, 1TB. It has to be the best decision I have made in regards to phones. I am in love with the screen sizes. The battery is also great too, I mean, it works on how much you use it. The inside screen is f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s and like a tablet in my pocket. I have no worries with the hinge or crease whatsoever. I AM IN LOVE!
Loving the new fold 8. I've had the Galaxy fold 4, OnePlus open , Honor Magic V5 and Google Pixel Fold 10 Fold and this form factor has been the best thus far. To do a quick thing like a text message or check a quick email on the cover screen is very comfortable and when I want to open social media apps or watch something the large cover display is amazing to do this on. Love the faster charging as well!

Preordered the Z Fold8. Came from Samsung S25 Ultra. Love the form factor and especially the lightweight. Texting requires a bit of getting used to since the screen is smaller (but not an issue). Instagram requires an update as this new screen ratio form factor is ne. I'm sure this will be fixed in future updates. Other then that, it's a Samsung..reliable, fast and productive device. Well done ✅

The size and shape of this phone is unique and this is definitely the best Fold phone to date. The thinner, lighter design compared with other Fold devices makes for a more user friendly experience whilst still offering the front screen as a quick use tool and the larger fold screen as a small tablet all in one. Ive put a 360 case on it as i will drop it and this is still no thicker than the average phone in a case. Battery so far is more than i need for heavy daily use and the speed and response is exceptional. The fold mech is strong and durable, holds firmly closed until openeded and snaps closed when finished. Best Samsung phone to date.

I have had the Fold 6 and thought moving to the Fold 7 was an evolution change, but moving to the Fold 8, wow! The size is perfect, it fits into your hand and looks right. Then you open it up and it transforms, pictures, video and books just fit the this screen ratio. The hinge works better than the Fold 7, opening easier and snaps open. The crease I have forgotten about. I didn't notice it on the Fold 7, but the screen is so much better. I never thought the Fold 7 was a slouch but the 8 seems so much more smoother and responsive. One UI 9 has some great improvements and the integration with the AI makes tasks and work flow so much easier.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 – A Foldable That Finally Feels Like the Future The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold8 feels like the kind of smartphone that makes you rethink what a phone can actually be. What impressed me most is how Samsung has made the foldable experience feel more practical without losing the excitement of having a large screen in your pocket. The new design is a huge highlight. I think Samsung nailed it with the Fold8, the size, the hinge mechanism, the screen viewing ration when folded and unfolded, it is impressive and once you get used to it you can't go back to normal phones. Battery capacity is huge and certainly lasts for a full day with constant usage, and the phone form factor is durable but worth investing in a rugged cased to protect such massive investment. Screen is bright and very responsive when folded and unfolded, really love watching videos on this phone, and more importantly choose the right case that support vertical kickstand (not just horizontal) to be sure you are most enjoying the screen view.

This is my first fordable. I'm impressed with most aspects of the phone. My annoyances are the comparisons between using a swift keyboard is Samsung keyboard. Swift is still better. Size of keyboard overlaps everything on the screen. Not a good experience. Need the ability to control rotation between vertical and landscape when using the outer screen. There are some apps which I don't want to rotate to landscape when the phone is closed. Would also be peace of mind to have a higher ip rating. Ip48 keeps me up at night and I would love not to have to use a chunky case to protect the phone.

I have been using this phone z fold 8, for about two weeks now and i'm in so much love with it. I traded my z flip 7 for this one. The best thing I love about this phone is the way I can read my books on this. Just makes everything easier. I'm an avid reader and I haven't used my ipad since I got this phone for reading or anything else. This phone just makes things so much easier.And so much fun. The biggest plus in samsung in the last 2 years are the customization. There's so much flexibility in making things both in this one. And with the amazing fold , the screen is just right size. And you don't need extra screen protector for the main screen; it is durable enough. It's just that I use both the screen multiple times and then a lot of Fingerprints are left on the main screen. And I have to clean it up at least once or twice a day. But it happens when you use the phone a lot.So I have no complaints there. The amount of customization , this phone allows you to do, makes it much better. Goodluck app is your best friend. Be it brightness or lightning stuffs or notification customization or front screen or lock screen, you can do a lot more with this app. I love how different , it is when it comes to z flip. When I was using flip , I always used the hinge to take photos or talk in video call. I didn't need an extra tripod or anything else to hold. With fold I need like a pop socket or something to hold the phone.When I take pictures , especially if I wanted to use the previous screen. And regards to the sensitivity and responsiveness of the phone I have no complaints at all. And it's just amazing. Overall , I just love the phone and i'm happy with it. 😍🤩 Even though I loved my flip phone and I loved how it was so much compact and easy to take pictures with the back camera on the flex mode. I still feel like I love fold just as much as I loved flip phone. If not more. I do miss the flex mode of taking pictures , though. 😅

I am loving it so far! I love the size of both displays, and I really like the size of the device in general. The passport type shape is really appealing to me and its been a dream to consume content on. The device is very responsive and I havent had any kind of slowdowns at all, everything is instant and smooth. The battery life is really good too! I like the new si-c battery, it lasts ages and I havent had any issues with it at all- plus it keeps the device sleek and thin. The device itself feels very sturdy, it's well made and I have no concerns of it breaking. The hinge feels very snappy and premium and I havent had any issues with it at all.

Straight of the box i thought what a cool phone. Easy to set up,had it next to my S24 and it picked my phone up instantly. The Display is fantastic and extremely clear. The Hinge in the fold is very strong but not to stiff and is easy to open. I have my Battery set to 80 percent but everyday use, it doesn't drop below 50 percent, which is miles better than my S24. This isn't a Flimsy phone, it's quite robust and feels very strong in your hand. Searching through apps, it's really quick and very responsive and you can have multiple pages and apps open at the same time. This is a great upgrade from my S24, glad I got one. You won't be disappointed 😉

After getting my wife a Fold 7, I've been totally amazed by these foldable phones. You get the best of both worlds – a regular phone on the outside and a tablet inside! When my S23 started slowing down and the battery was dying fast, I knew it was time for a Fold. I knew the Fold 8 was coming out, so I waited and watched prices for both the new one and the Fold 7. After snagging a sweet deal on the Fold 8, it was a no-brainer. This phone is everything I hoped for and more. It's super fast, holds a charge forever, and the inner display crease is barely there – you actually forget you have a tablet that folds in half! Seriously great, no regrets.

Great little phone, I love the versatility of it. When needed I can just fold it right out to read comic books or watch videos. But mostly I use it unfolded, the passport shape and size makes it fun to use. The battery so far have been good, and the Hinge feels durable and responsive.

I absolutely love this phone — it might honestly be the best one I’ve ever owned. The battery life is solid and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use without any issues. The display brightness is incredible, even outdoors in direct sunlight it stays crisp and easy to read. Build quality feels noticeably more durable than previous models I’ve had, so it holds up well to everyday wear and tear. The hinge feels sturdy and smooth with no wobble, and everything about the responsiveness — from the screen to app switching — feels fast and fluid. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Overall, I’m very happy with this phone. The large inner screen feels almost like a small tablet, which makes reading, browsing the web, checking messages and multitasking much more comfortable than on a regular phone. The design is also very practical because it is still compact enough when folded. The only downside I have noticed so far is that when using the front screen, some apps can be a bit slow to respond. Occasionally I have had to close the app and reopen it to make it work properly again. Hopefully this can be improved with future software updates. Apart from that, the phone is excellent and the big screen experience is really impressive.

Samsung never dissapoints ,i nived to samsung when the first flip came and now this loving it!!!! I charged it over night and by the end of the day it was 60 percent absolutely chuffed. Flawless display and responsive ,and im blown away by the simplicity of data transference. Since the first flip samsung has really progressed with the hinge movement . You cnt the see middle hinge on the display ,the protective screen use to come after a year but with last flip it did not happen .Durability has come a long away. No chipping, bending scratches. I am the biggest fan now as samsung has proven themselves in every aspect ."Always One step ahead in the Game ".

Having held onto my S23 Ultra for the last 3 years, I was very tempted by the Z Fold 8 Ultra! However, in the end I opted for the Z Fold 8 because the form factor felt different. I am obsessed with how good this phone is to use just with the external screen and use that easily 80% but possibly 90% of the time. The battery is currently lasting me 2 days which is outstanding for such a small form factor. The foldable screen once opened is then truly something special. The phone is brilliantly responsive between screens and feels seamless. The camera is really only average when trying to zoom, but for normal photos of subjects nearby is perfectly acceptable.

It probably the best mobile phone I havyye bought. Display and responsiveness is lovely. It fits in my hand nicely. Battery appears to be ok. Even though small it appears to be quite durable for it's size. The hinge appears sturdy

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

Best updated, most unique designed mobile that totally shines above all the rest! Samsung Fold 8 is amazing. Fits so snuggly in your hand. Is slim lined and a good light weight. Most impressed in the battery life and easy fit in your purse or pocket size. Photos are sharp, bright and clear. Love the fold out larger screen and amazing apps to use. Can chat to friends on Messenger on one side while scrolling media on the left. Being older and not too techy I've found the Samsung Fold 8 easy to use and navigate. Even my hubby bought one! Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟 🙂 (Something to make it better for me 🤔 A 200mp camera 📷 ).

Where do i start? The fold 8 is the perfect little machine. Fits great in jeans pockets and the right size to do everything on the go right on the cover screen. Fold 8 open 😜 and its like a kindle size device. Super comfortable to hold, genuinely the perfect size for other tasks that require more attention. The display quality is fantastic So far. The battery life is great. I've had it 4 days now and only charged it twice. I can't comment on durabilty just yet as ive not had it long enough but It eems solid. Its a fast a very responsive little unit and feels very rugged at the hinge compared to other folds/flips i have had

I have had multiple foldables from Honor over the last few years and this year I traded in my Honor Magic V5 for the Z Fold 8. And I am so glad I did. The form factor is far better, it's lighter, the display is epic, the crease is nearly non-existent, the battery is superb and holding the device in the hand is great. It's easily pocketable and is very snappy to use, very responsive and so far, I cannot say enough great things about it. I had questions about the camera but for standard photography, I really can't complain. I don't use a zoom lens so I don't miss the added camera in the Fold 8 Ultra. Superb all round device!

I love the new design and functionality of the phone. The single screen is sufficient for me to do a lot of work without needing to open the full screen size. Of course the double screen helps when working on my VM machine. Only flaw is that the single screen you are unable to control the viewing dimensions, so for reading and older people like me, this becomes a slight issue. Of course you can open the double screen and that would solve it. So small flaw in the UX. Regardless, I would still recommend the phone. Good speed, sharp and clear images and certainly feels robust enough to handle someone rough like me.

I have been a Samsung Z Fold user for a number of years, with a Z Fold 4 and then a Z Fold 6. I loved both of these phones and the One UI software. The multitasking is next level, photos are amazing, and usability is brilliant. The Fold 4 had some battery problems after 2 years; that is why I upgraded to the Fold 6. The battery, durability, hinge and responsiveness of that phone were perfect for what I do. When I saw this new Z Fold 8 and its new format, it is perfect - it is the best of both worlds. The cover screen is now so usable, and the inside screen with the thinner body make it fit in my hand so easily.

Where to begin ? I started with a Z Fold 5 and was really impressed by it's display, and responsiveness,. It was sturdy and had a great battery life. Now I have the Z Fold 8 and despite being much slimmer than the 5, it's just as sturdy, but also even more responsive. The display is still fantastic, the camera is superb. Amazing piece of kit !

I truly love this phone. The front display is a great size where I can use for all apps and more. The middle display is simply fantastic 👌 and I love the way the hinge snaps giving it a really high quality feel. The battery last for two days which is incredible and the whole devise feel so durable and well made. I have a three year contract and feel totally confident this device will last. The operating system is perfect and has amazing responsiveness. It truly is a joy to own and use. Love the large screen when I'm searching online and the front is great for everyday use. I would highly recommend this device

It is a truly remarkable phone, thin and with a very useful foldable large screen. But, it is still lacking a few essential things, as it doesn't have magnetic wireless charging capability despite the fact it doesn't have a pen like the Ultra that apparently is the cause for not introducing this feature in the first place, it is not coming with a a screen protector for the external display as it used to, no ultra fast charger in the box as the old chargers are not ultra fast charging but barely 10-15 W, the battery doesn't last more than the previous models or any S models. Overall it is not worth the full price but if you can get a good discount then it is a good purchase.

3 orientations in which I can use the Z Fold 8: a good-sized outer display and a massive inner one that is not just suited to consume video content but also to read text! Everything seamlessly transitions between the outer & inner displays too. Pocketability and one-handed operations are distinctly great on this form factor. Watching videos on the phone has been a treat! I finally feel like I have landed on THE one device that I can daily drive for everything because when I open the Z Fold 8 up, I can do things that I would on a tablet OR even, dare I say, somethings that I would open a PC for earlier..

I love the new size of phone both screens are a great size and it is easy to carry around in pockets and bags. I wasn't sure I would like this phone when I pre-ordered, my doubts were gone in the first hour it is so much fun, the camera is great and using it open makes it a lot better, battery lasts a long time, I love the finger print reader is on the side and not on the screen. If you are on the fence try it, you won't regret it. The hinges are great and no visible line on the screen when open. The speed is great and it is not as fragile as you think so I think it will last before I need to upgrade.

I've had most phone styles and recently changed from the flip7 as I got sick of having to flip it open to use it. The front screen on the fold8 is perfect for 90% of use. I do multitasking on once open and it does it perfectly with 2 apps open. Only gripe I have is on apps like instagram, it doesn't respond well with me hitting the bookmark button or other types of buttons on other apps where the function sits on the far right of the screen, I believe it's a glitch for the wider format for the front screen. I assume this can be fixed with an update 🙏 other than that - perfect device. Sturdy and feels great.

Today is day 5 with the phone and I am absolutely loving it. Battery life has been fantastic and the size of phone is just perfect for getting most things done on the cover screen and accomplishing the rest on the inner screen. Having had the z fold 7 which was a good phone I can honestly say the "regular" 8 is even better and the perfect form factor for me. Cream colour is the best IMHO.. I have never had an issue with the crease so no comment on that. Screen display is bright enough even for outdoors in sunny weather. Oneui 9 flies so no complaints there. We will have to see how we do for durability going forward. The only complaint to date is the cost to own one of these phones.

The phone is great..Once dropped the screen light flickered off which gives anxiety it might turn off at any moment when it came back on. The relentless process of obtaining and sending phone in with nobody to talk to is infuriating. Otherwise the phone is fast great and battery lasts ages and the fold is clever tech.

This phone is a revelation, perfect size for one or two hand operation. Fabulous display wider than a normal handheld which in my view gives your eyes more to see and easier to operate. Coming from a z fold 7 this phone as come on leaps and bounds, longer battery time, brilliant display and a very responsive operating system in the Android 17 with UI 9. Stunning build quality with a far better hinge. This phone is a keeper for me and I am confident it's durability will last for all of the updates. Outstanding specs, and without doubt Samsung's best phone yet. They will sell millions of these no problem.

I started using Samsung phones way back with the 'S' series, then through the years, wanted more screen space, so the Flip 3 was next in line. Great phone until I changed for the Fold 4. My daughter still enjoys my Fold 4, but I moved up to the Fold 6 , then to the Fold 7, and now to the Fold8. This phone is unbelievable, so many options are available especially when you download Samsung apps like Good Lock and Navstar, and more. Many of my friends have changed to Samsung because they want to experience the screen size as well as the extras like the Samsung watch , that links in to the phone perfectly.

I love the phone, the size of the phone, I have had the z fold from the 1st gen to the z fold 7 but changing to the z fold 8 it's a game changer, thank you Samsung for this. The battery is very impressive last me whole day with heavy use and the display is nice and crisp, i love the durability it's got tough glass, I also love the titanium hinge that shows less crease, and the software and top it's a very responsive phone

I’ve been buying Samsung phones all the way back since the Galaxy S2, and I’ve tried my fair share of devices over the years. The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is easily the most impressive one yet. Previous folds always felt like a bit of a trade-off with thickness and pocket bulk, but Samsung finally nailed the form factor here. It’s easily the thinnest, sleekest fold I’ve ever owned. Using the outer screen one-handed is completely natural now without feeling clunky, and opening it up gives you that full screen whenever you need it. Fast, smooth, and an incredible all-rounder. 10/10 from a long-time fan

I bought it thinking its just another foldable and had s25 ultra and a coupon from my workplace, so went with it, but boy was I wrong, didn't like it initially, but it has grown on me, I love the inside screen and battery life is surprisingly good. I dont kmow how its gonna be in long run as after working for 5 years in cellphones, I have seen samsung foldables break in 2-3 years. However I happy for now. Buy samsung care if you wanna keep it for long, A bit disappointed they did not do 50% off warranty like they do with new launches. Overall happy, just one minor thing I downloaded a game(forgot the name) that puts it in a situation that when you launch it it keeps rotating from portrait to landscape indefinitely, but understandable for new aspect ratio device. So a good phone.

Having that extra screen real estate means significantly less scrolling whether I'm browsing, reading, or multitasking, and media consumption feels far more immersive. I was on the fence when the new fold 8 was announced. Went to the store to look at it and I was sold. I received my pistachio fold 8 and the color is amazing. It is subtle and reminds me of the mint color from last year. It is so comfortable to hold and typing on the front screen is a breeze. Opening and closing the device is easy, and the crease is so much better. I can see it if I am looking for it but you cannot feel it. Too early to speak about battery life but it is lasting longer than my fold 7. Overall I am in love with those form factor, next year I would like Samsung to focus on the cameras. Only other thing I have noticed is the device gets warm at times and some games don't render well and I lose where I am. Overall I would recommend this device.

The best phone format I’ve ever tried. I had the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Galaxy S26 Ultra, but they are bulky and clumsy. The Fold8 makes life much easier: - small, thin and lightweight: it easily fits in a jeans pocket - great for watching YouTube and reading books - the hinge is less visible than on my wife’s Flip6 - the standing case is excellent for hands-free content viewing It’s not ideal, though: - the camera is visibly worse than on the S26 Ultra - some apps cut off content because of the folded display’s unusual width - it looks fragile and might be very expensive to repair after a fall

The size format is perfect, i feel i only need to open when actually needed. With the ultra the screen is too narrow and i feel i need to open it more than i should. The crease is barely visible at the moment which is great. Not sure how this will be over time. Battery life is good last me the day. The hinge is very keen not sure im confortable with the forceful opening. Its alot lighter than my previous phone so durability is yet to be determined. But with this being so light im worried for how it would stand up to being dropped. With the 1tb 16gb it feel rapid when it comes to responsiveness.

This is the first Samsung Z Fold that I've ever gotten, I've previously come from a Z Flip 6, and just changed from my S 25 Edge, so I've dabbled in a few different Samsung phones and tried different form factor. This phone makes so much sense for me, especially for viewing content, I watch a lot of YouTube and the 16:10 cover screen only leaves a very small amount of black bars, because most of the videos are 16:9. For reading books, manga, and watching anime, the inside screen is great. Books are shaped like books, manga almost fills the whole screen, and anime looks great, especially the older ones that have 3:4 aspect ratio, there's no black bars. This is the fold that really spoke to me, with my use case it's the perfect phone for me. A phone when I need one, a mini tablet when I need one..

I am blown away by this phone so far. For years I've said the trend of huge phones that just get taller is frustrating. They're uncomfortable and impractical. This is the perfect form factor - so easy to hold, and the large folded out screen is amazing. Most importantly, it's a true joy to use folded as well because the screen is a perfect size. Feels great in the pocket too. So far the hinge has only creased a little so I just hope it's durable over time. If so, it's perfect. Not gone below 50% battery with moderate use on both screens, including games. Samsung, kudos. This is a game changer!

I absolutely love the Galaxy Z Fold 8. The biggest highlight for me is the form factor — having a normal phone that can instantly unfold into a mini tablet is incredibly useful. It gives you the convenience of a phone when you’re on the go, but whenever you need more screen space for browsing, reading, videos or multitasking, you can simply open it up. The design also feels very refined. Samsung has done a great job making a foldable device feel polished and practical rather than just a cool piece of technology. I bought this a month ago and am so happy that I did. The battery life is incredible and easily gets me through a full day of heavy use. I am especially impressed by the screen's brightness, which makes it perfectly clear to read even outside under direct sunlight.The build quality feels premium, giving me complete confidence in its long-term durability. I really loved my Flip 3, and then I got the S24 Ultra, which had an amazing camera and was a great all-around phone, though a bit big for my pocket. Now I'm on the Fold 8, and I'm super impressed with how it folds and its slim compact size, and also Samsung does the BEST trade-in deals. The screen and battery are awesome. But, I'm really let down about the camera. For this price, I expected a telephoto lens or better optical zoom. When I tried to zoom in about 15 meters, the quality was pretty bad. Samsung team, you could've made it perfect by adding another camera or better optical sensor, making it a truly outstanding product. It's a real letdown, I feel like I have a camera from 2 years ago.

Recently upgraded from the fold 7 to 8 and can't believe it has taken this long to finally have a foldable of this size. Not too small like a flip but not too large like the folds, but a comfortable passport size phone that allows you to easily use it when its closed and fits perfect in the palm of your hands. When open give you a beautiful size for viewing videos like a wide screen TV. Perfect for gaming, viewing office documents, social media. I highly recommend if like me, you want a comfortable phone that can slip into your pocket, but also a large screen for streaming films. It's fast, smooth and simple to use. Packed full of awesome features, you really won't regret the purchase. Trust me!!!

I traded in my Fold 6 for the pre-order new Fold 8 and while I has been second guessing myself, once in hand, its been great. I love the different screen options and the size when closed. Also, and this isn't mentioned much, its an amazing size for selfies. It just fits so well in your hands without unbalance of a regular phone or the candy-bar Folds.

I'm loving this new phone, the display is great on the front screen and really comes to life when you unfold it, the hinge/fold in the main screen is totally unnoticeable. The size of the phone i thought maybe too wide, but I was mistaken it fits great in my pockets and feels good in the hand. The battery seems great too as I've had this since Monday (now Thursday night) and have been constantly using it and setting it all up etc. I have only charged it twice. It feels very well made, responsive and only time will tell if it's durability will be enough. But so far 5 Stars from me 😍

I saw a square form-factor phone from another brand and I was really into it, but after doing some research I found out that it wasn't powerful enough for daily tasks and the battery life wasn't that impressive either. A couple of months later, Samsung announced they were releasing a small form-factor fold phone, and I already knew this was going to be my next phone, especially with those square-cut chocolate teaser ads. Very disappointed. The device didn't meet my expectations at all. In store, I wasn't allowed to properly hold the device and try the external screen, which is one of the most important parts of the everyday experience. Had I been able to properly test it, I probably wouldn't have ordered it. I requested a return the very next day, only to be told that I could face a minimum 20% deduction for depreciation. Very disappointing experience.

My first fold. Unbelievable device. New form factory takes some getting used to but now when I look at a slab phone, it feels unnatural. New silicon carbon battery is a great upgrade, with all day battery life. Displays are sharp with more than enough brightness. Feels durable in the hand but would definitely recommend a front and back case of some sort. The new hinge feels sturdy and forces itself open after a certain point. The new chip make the phone extremely responsive and handles any tasks with ease. If you're tempted, just get one, you'll only regret not getting it sooner!

The crease is alot less noticeable compared to any foldable I have held. The hinge is smooth and firm enough that you need a bit of force to open or close the phone which is good becuase you dont want a floppy phone. It feels very strong as in durable, i wouldn't personally test dropping the phone but im confident it can survive decent heights. The battery lasts me all day and charges very fast, faster than the fold 7. The inner and outer screens are both great, i primarily use the inner screen and I'm well pleased with it. The phone is very responsive when it comes to any task.

I am absolutely thrilled with my new Galaxy Z Fold 8. It's much more than just a phone; it's a true productivity tool that fits in your pocket. After having Samsung for many years, most recently a S25, I decided to upgrade to the Fold 8 purely out of size convenience. I had a Flip prior to the S25 and loved it despite it's thicker size when folded. The Fold 8 is entirely different. It's small enough for my hand, but big enough to navigate on a single screen, with the convenience of a small tablet if required. I'm loving the experience that it provides. And it fits better in my bag when I only want to carry a few things. Completely converted.

Had to wait patiently for my preorder to arrive. Had placed the order in July but my coworker who placed his order in August got his phone before me 😂. This design is everything I've wanted in a phone. Small enough to pocket but large enough to turn into a mini tablet. hopefully all the hinge issues have been worked out in the previous editions. I've been waiting to get a fold once all the kinks have been worked out and this is the one!

Am amazed by this device it is perfect for me, as someone who had the fold a couple of years ago and loved the ideas of a folding phone, i just could not get on with the size of the device struggling to fit it into my pocket so had to move to the flip 7. The the passport size came along, yes a little larger than the flip 7, but omg the size is just perfect, the display is great and bright, battery is night and day to my old flip 7 and the hinge just feels more premium and it fis in my pocket. It's the perfect middle ground and know am going to continue to love this phone.

I’m really impressed with my new Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. The design feels premium, and the large foldable display makes multitasking, watching videos, browsing, and getting things done so much more enjoyable. The performance is smooth and responsive, and the cameras take excellent photos with great detail and colour. I also love how versatile it is—when I need a compact phone it folds down easily, and when I want a bigger screen it opens up into a mini tablet. Overall, it feels like a big step forward in foldable technology and has quickly become one of my favourite devices.

I have been using the Z Fold 8 for a week, I have come from having the Z Foldv7 and I absolutely love the form factor, hands more manageable than the Z Fold 7. Look the cameras could be better, but it's not like I'm a professional photographer either! IP rating could be better but again I've never really exposed any of my previous founds to the elements, like sand for example. I don't think I'd ever go back to slab style phone ever again, or in particular a Z Fold 7/8 Ultra form factor!! Z Fold just fits, it's perfect!! Well done Samsung i think you finally got it right!!

I was skeptical to begin with as to the new shape having owned a z fold 5 for a couple of years. However the fold 8 is a fantastic addition to the line up, it fits so much more nicely into a pocket, and I don't feel I need to open it to take photos. The battery life so far is is tremendous, I get 2 days from a full charge. The display is crisp, bright, and the screen is as responsive as ever for a samsung device. All in all a great purchase. I even bought a second one for my wife, and recommended a colleague get one. Who subsequently has moving from iPhone in the process.

The smaller display of the front screen is a refreshing change in terms of how it fits in my hand when using it with one hand and the responsiveness of app continuity is great when changing between the two screens which is also helped by the snappy feel of the new hinge. I was at first cautious when using the inside larger screen due to older folding screens feeling delicate but the durability has been massively improved. The battery life of the phone is very comparable if not better than my previous phone, the iphone 16 plus which i got the larger size for the battery, so i dont have to be worried about using the new phone for productivity and media streaming all day and still have charge left until i go to sleep.

I switched from Google Pixel to the Galaxy Fold 8. My first Samsung experience and I'm a convert. The transfer of data was practically seamless. It's taken a few days to tweak things to the way I like them, but so far so good. Probably the least stressful transfer and new phone set up I've ever had. I love reading my kindle app on this phone and working on spreadsheets when I'm on the run is so easy. The device it's self is so light and my only issue now is choosing a case that works and wont make the incredibly slim design bulky. The only downside (or thing I haven't figured out yet) is I would love an easy flick to silence the phone, but still vibrate. Hopefully that's just something this new Samsung user needs to figure out.

Takes getting used to handling the unit. Always flopping around for right grip. Worried about scratching lens and screen as protectors are scarce. Overall very satisfied and enjoy bigger screens

I'm extremely happy with my decision to get the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8. The new form factor is incredibly easy to pocket and super convenient for browsing and typing, I've found myself making significantly less typos on this than any other phone I've had in the last few years. When unfolded, the phone becomes a great YouTube and Netflix watching device and I've even found some older games I used to regularly play on my old Samsung Galaxy Note 3 run and look better then they did on phones with the now typical tall form factor. All in all, this is a great device and I'm glad Samsung took the risk of making a folding phone in the "passport" form factor. Here's hoping this becomes the new normal Fold moving forward.

Absolutely love this phone. Where do I begin? Firstly, the front display is amazing. Upon opening, the hinge feels like its durability will last the distance. Once set up, which is a breeze, both screens are extremely responsive. The longevity of the battery is looking excellent. I have had Samsung phones for many years, but this is most definitely my favorite. In short, if anyone is thinking about taking the plunge with this phone, I can only advise you to do so immediately; you will not be disappointed. Absolutely fantastic phone. Samsung just keeps getting better.

I Waited for the 8th version to finally buy a fold. And boy did samsung finally deliver in this version The middle ground to a flip and a bar phone was definitely the sweetspot. I'm loving the form factor and the easiness to use in one hand. I'm still not over the fact that this phone can turn into a tablet in a blink of an eye. Seems durable so far. It's been in a case since day 1. The pistachio color is beautiful. Battery life is great as well. I've gone through a day with decent usage and still had more than 40% left. Coming from a s21 I felt a great bump in brightness. Inner screen is gorgeous. Pictures and movies look amazing. I dont feel the crease at all. I've not used the previous versions so don't know the difference.

I have always had other brands of phones and when I saw the Z Fold 8 I fell in love with the size, design and the way it opens to the size of a kindle. I am a frequent traveller and always take my phone, kindle and tablet which weighs my bag down significantly. Will only need to take my phone from here on out, it is big enough to read and watch a movie on. I'm pleasantly surprised at the ease of transferring data from non samsung phones and how easy it is to use. There's help on line and in the software itself if you can't set it how you want it. It has an excellent battery life and consider it superior to all other phones i have owned. The camera picture quality and zoom are amazing!! I'm really happy with the change of phones.

I've been Samsung loyal for more than 10 years and I was an early adopter of the third generation Fold and then I went back to an S23, which I held on to for the last three years. I've had the Fold 8 now for just over a week and it is unbelievable. The new form factor is just so good. Everyone's gonna have these phones over the next 12 months absolutely wrapped by it. Also matched with the watch, our new Ultra 2 watch, and the earbuds, the Ultra earbuds all work so well together. Unwrapped, can't highly recommend. Thank you Samsung

I bought this phone to replace my beloved Surface Duo 2. Microsoft was first to introduce a folding passport size phone, and I have been using it for 5 years. Finally, there is another phone on the market that maintains that form factor. I am enjoying the cover screen, but find the multi-screen support to be a step backward from what I was used to. Overall, I am pleased though. Good battery, great displays, zippy.

This foldable has the best form factor for most people. Usable, with strong overall performance and efficient idle/standby performance (losing about 1-2% for 8h with WiFi turned on, BT off), strong video performance (about 24h of YouTube WiFi, BT off). Battery's screen on time (SoT) is about 8h of mixed usages under WiFi and cellular, standard battery settings, which is sufficient for most people's daily usages. The battery will last longer if you activate the Battery Saver mode.

My first foldable phone, and the battery life was one of my main concerns before receiving it. However, it has been surprisingly good and lasts just as long as a traditional flagship phone. The form factor is unique and exciting, and the larger inner display is fantastic for consuming content, especially older content in a 4:3 aspect ratio. I’m also a big reader, particularly of comic books, and honestly, the larger screen alone makes this phone worth it for me. It’s also much more stable and comfortable to use when unfolded than I expected, with the hinge making the phone feel surprisingly sturdy and durable. Overall a great phone if your looking to consume alot of media on the go without the need for multiple devices.

I bought this phone about 2 weeks ago and was skeptical about the form factor but immediately fell in love to the point where my S25 Ultra felt way too long. As someone with smaller hands this fits my needs more. YES the S25 Ultra has better camera but depending on your needs, the bigger optional screen for media consumption might be the better option for you. I do use the camera but more point and shoot rather then far shots so this fits my needs more. The battery I have no complaints. I work office job so I always have charger around. I just watched video of someone trying to break the phone and failed so durability will be solid. Wish samsu g made hinge protective cases but theres always 3rd party. Responsiveness is snappy as well.
I Just got my SAMSUNG FOLD 8, THE BUILD QUALITY OF Hinge IS SUPERIOR THAN THE LAST FOLD 7 I HAD. THIS NEW SCREEN SIZE IS VERY COOL WITH ASPECT RATIO OF MEDIA PLAYBACK. FIRST WEEK IMPRESSION JUST LOVE IT!!!. Battery is bigger than the last phone. Speed wise it does not lag! At all. IN BRIGHTNESS WISE WHEN IN SUNLIGHT IT IS THE SHARPEST SCREEN YOU CAN HAVE.

The new product ( fold 8) has a very high level of completion in its folding area. The weight is significantly lighter than the previous model, making it more portable. The size is also made in a size that is easy to carry around without any burden. You may feel that there isn't a significant difference in size compared to your previous flip. I have got the s25 ultra, its absolutely amazing, honestly I was considering the 17pro max, pixel 10 pro xl, and the s25 ultra for over 3 months, and did lots of comparisons, all were good products, but by far the s25 ultra blows everything out of the water, its the king of all phones.
