great form Factor for reading and watching content, the fact that that it is only over 200 g is a big plus. You don't feel a big presence when it's in your pocket, and holding it in hand for a long time is no longer a painful thing. Basically a powerful ultra thing and light tablet. The only regrets is that there's no telescope camera.

Very good job Samsung! The Fold 8 was a great change after previously having an S25 and Flip 6... the crease is next to non existent, the display CLOSED and opened is beautiful. When getting this using the trade in I didn't think too much of it and wanted to give it a shot. I don't find that the lacking telephoto does too much on a day to day usage, and the other aspects of the Snapdragon and improved battery still make it a powerhouse. This phone feels like an ultra in terms of performance and storage (minus the cams), and still holds up as a foldable. Very pleased and excited. What I didn't think, would be the enjoyment of the cover or front screen. This screen is a perfect size for typing, using apps, just about anything, even though it's significantly shorter than the S25 and S25U that I have. Usability is fantastic and we will see how the durability holds up (looking good so far, and no hinge issues like my flip had!).

Love the fold 8 wide. Now I can watch my shows and play games on a larger screen. The battery life is amazing and it charges pretty quick. The screen brightness is perfect. The hinge feels durable and you can barely see the fold in the middle.

Preordered the Z Fold8. Came from Samsung S25 Ultra. Love the form factor and especially the lightweight. Texting requires a bit of getting used to since the screen is smaller (but not an issue). Instagram requires an update as this new screen ratio form factor is ne. I'm sure this will be fixed in future updates. Other then that, it's a Samsung..reliable, fast and productive device. Well done ✅

I love the design, having a bigger front screen is great. It's very responsive and after a week I'm glad I didn't get the ultra.

Ive been using this phone for 2 weeks now and all i could say is i love every minute of it. Using it for work the big screen display helps a lot been doing multitasking and the phone never slowed down. Batteries are amazing. 70% can last me the whole day with 30% to spare. I like how solid it feels. And unfolding is quite smooth. Its been my main phone since i got it

I finally made the jump to the Fold series and I couldn't be happier that I did. This form factor is perfect for my big hands, and I can comfortably type one-handed without any issues. The improved battery life is also a welcome addition, and all content, including videos and games are delightful on the inner display. It might be expensive, but if the camera system was to improve in the future, i'm sure this can easily become mainstream.

I bought it thinking its just another foldable and had s25 ultra and a coupon from my workplace, so went with it, but boy was I wrong, didn't like it initially, but it has grown on me, I love the inside screen and battery life is surprisingly good. I dont kmow how its gonna be in long run as after working for 5 years in cellphones, I have seen samsung foldables break in 2-3 years. However I happy for now. Buy samsung care if you wanna keep it for long, A bit disappointed they did not do 50% off warranty like they do with new launches. Overall happy, just one minor thing I downloaded a game(forgot the name) that puts it in a situation that when you launch it it keeps rotating from portrait to landscape indefinitely, but understandable for new aspect ratio device. So a good phone.

The flip felt too small and I have been an Ultra girl since the note series. This phone ferls great in my hand. It feels like a mini book or even like a compact mirror. The screen is responsive. Flips through pages quickly. The colors of my videos, pictures and movies look stunning. I think the sound is louder than my S23 Ultra. My daughter complained it was too loud but not for me, lol. It's a great little phone and I can't wait until I can customize it even more. It's beautiful and sleek. I love the fingerprint sensor on the side. It responds quickly to unlock.

It's wonderfully compact when folded, but unfolding it into a mini tablet completely changes the experience. Videos look fantastic on the inner display, and the anti-reflective screen coating makes a massive difference for visibility. The upgraded faster charging is a welcome quality-of-life improvement, and the cameras are completely sufficient for everyday photos. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose to shake things up a bit and ditch the traditional candy bar phone for a short and stubby passport style foldable. It's been 3 days and I'm loving all the tweaks and customization available in the new operating system I wish that the phone had different camera placement and included a telephoto lens. I miss the old version of the inner display's selfie camera. A tad intrusive and I don't see any use case. The speaker placement could also be better next iteration because it does not provide stereo sound when in landscape viewing on the inner screen. I wish it was $250 cheaper and I could say it was a good value, but it is a solid device.

When opened the screen is amazing! Watching Netflix and YouTube on this is seriously impressive. When I want to play games I open it up and now I have a tablet, it really blew my expectations out of the water. I really like that the finger print reader is in the power button it makes more sense to have it there. This phone is way louder than my s26 was. The compact size of this phone when closed should be the new standard, it just feels more natural. I dont see myself ever going back to a candy bar shaped phone ever again.

It is the ultimate daily driver. I use my phone alot to watch movies, YouTube videos, and for reading. Reading on this phone is so comfortable on both the inner and outer displays. I find that in using the inner display alot more than I did on my previous fold because the new dimensions make it feel so much better in my small hands Also, the phone is just beautiful. I love that videos take up the whole screen on the outer display and the brightness on this phone makes everything look sharper.

The screen quality was amazing and I was surprised by how long the battery lasted. I ended up returning it due to being worried of damaging it and being slightly paranoid about it not being dust resistant or having the inner screen get damaged accidentally. I say its almost there because it is "almost there." The phone is great but not having the best cameras is a big fault in a 1800 dollar phone. None the less I'm sure it will be a great phone for most people. The chose the Ultra 26 as a replacement and am more than happy!

I ended up returning the Razr for software alone. One UI is incredible and the Z Fold 8 is like having 3 devices in one. I rarely take photos but it's strange Samsung purposely set up a gen 2 with upgraded cameras. Keep us loyal at the onset! This device is amazingly light, strong, last long, has amazing screens, so easy and fun to use. Finally a phone is fun again! I got so sick and bored of the slabs and remote style. This for. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a long time Samsung Z Galaxy product user and I chose the new Fold 8 because of the form factor. The phone is the exact size of a Travel passport albeit a few mm thicker. I can hold the phone in my back pocket without it sticking out. I like that I can do most of my tasks using the apps on the cover screen because of the larger size. The rest of the phone features are what Samsung is known for. As for any negatives, I have owned previous Samsung Galaxy Z Flip and Fold phones versions and have had cover screen and screen issues. Hopefully Samsung has figured out to avoid the problem in it's 8th version of the phones.

I am very happy with the form factor. I am coming from a Fold 6 which I found to be too narrow when folded. The added width makes it easier for me to type on the keyboard. The shorter height makes it easy to reach the top and bottom of the screen when folded. There is less wasted space when watching videos unfolded. I think my ideal phone would be this form factor with better cameras. I am noticing some third party apps not accommodating the screen resolution properly but assume things will improve over time. The battery so far seems good. It is lasting longer than my Fold 6 probably due to a combination of larger battery size and degradation in my old phone.

It's smaller in your pocket, wider for comfortable typing when closed, and more immersion for video and content consumption when open. It has all my favorite features from the fold 6, but is a much more mature and polished foldable. The only thing I can think of to improve would be the speaker layout. Also the volume buttons work great but are locked in their orientation. I.e. if you flip the phone upside down, the volume up button is on the bottom and the volume down button is on the top. Easily solvable with software. Other than that, this phone is great and I'm very happy I chose it!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and so far this the best device I held in my hand. After using fold 8 rest of all phone feels like TV while holding in hand. Recommend to everyone for daily use.

Compré el Galaxy Z Fold 8 y es hermoso, agregué a mi compra un case magnético y detalle enorme es que solo tiene protector para la parte trasera del teléfono, al menos tiene dos micas, y los aditamentos necesarios para usar, algo decepcionante es que la mica después de instalada parece tener una línea justo donde se despega para colocarla, y eso da la apariencia de tener algún rayón lo cual es ilógico, con los primeros minutos de uso me di cuenta de que se ensucia demasiado la pantalla y el case
