I really like the big screen when I expand it, and when I close it, it feels better than the S24 Ultra because it's more ideal for single-hand use.                   I had a Fold 4 which I loved, but the crease, weight and thickness pushed me to the S24 Ultra at upgrade time. Now instead of the s26 Ultra, I just got the Fold 8 Ultra and it's soo good to be back! The crease is virtually gone, it's lighter, it's impossibly thin, more durable internal screen, bigger battery, brighter screen, flagship chip, higher resolution, improved hinge, flex mode, cover screen preview..almost perfect! My only complaint is the lack of fold pen support which was great on the Fold 4. I get it might have been difficult with how thin the device is and it's not a deal breaker, but it would have been a nice bonus. Great job Samung and thanks for the awesome trade in bonus!

Compared with the previous generations, the improvements are noticeable in the areas that matter most to me. The battery life is definitely better, and I feel much more confident getting through a full day without constantly thinking about the charger. The crease on the main screen is much less noticeable, especially when watching videos or multitasking, which makes the large display feel more polished. The hinge is another big improvement. It feels smoother, more solid and refined when opening and closing the phone. Overall, the device feels thinner, lighter and more premium while still giving you that huge screen when you need it. Performance is fast, multitasking on the big display is fantastic, and the whole phone feels like a much more mature foldable than the earlier models. If you've been waiting for Samsung to improve the battery, crease and hinge before upgrading to another Fold, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra is a very impressive step forward. Easily 5 stars from me!

                  I’ve been extremely impressed with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra. What stands out most is how Samsung managed to give it such a large, beautiful folding display while keeping the phone surprisingly thin and light. It feels much more comfortable to carry and use than I expected from a foldable with this much screen space. The inner display is easily my favourite feature. Once unfolded, it feels like having a small tablet in my pocket. Reading websites, checking emails, viewing photos and videos, and working with documents are all much more enjoyable on the larger screen. Multitasking is also excellent. Being able to have multiple apps open at the same time makes the Fold especially useful for productivity. I can check an email while looking at another app, browse the web while taking notes, or move between tasks without constantly switching back and forth. I also really appreciate that I can use the outer screen like a regular smartphone when I just need to do something quickly, then unfold it whenever I want the extra space. It gives me the best of both a phone and a tablet in one device. The combination of the large folding display, thinner and lighter design, and excellent multitasking has made the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra one of the most enjoyable smartphones I’ve used. Samsung has done an excellent job refining the foldable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a premium phone with a much bigger screen when they need it.

The only fan perk—the free memory upgrade for pre-orders—has been cancelled. The only bright spots are the increased battery life and faster charging, and this year's anti-reflective screen is excellent. The crease is also less noticeable than last year. Now that the phone has the "Ultra" name, I hope next year's model will see more improvements, otherwise, I'll lose the motivation to upgrade.

But be aware of the inner screen display where if you close the phone the borders of the phone does not protect the inner screen rather the inner screen touches each other so any kind of debris will cause the inner screen to break. You might also find that the touch response is not that great as the bar phones of the ultra. I just love the size, Samsung needs to work on this phone factor and make it perfect. Display quality is great but sometimes or most of the times it reduces the brightness I do not know for whatever reason it might be. And battery life it is okay for now goes through the day but you need to recharge it twice a day.

                  Switched from my Z fold 6 and the phone works excellent. Having the new cameras with improved quality and a more durable inner screen makes a difference. Plus the crease is nearly gone when I touch or look directly into it. The processor is also more responsive than I expected which is worth it when I need to execute tasks. I am however wanting to have the S-Pen functionality back as that would make the inner screen a much more better performance in my daily needs such as sketching/drawing.

                  This is my first fold coming from the so called slab phone the s25 ultra. I have to say it grows on you as you use it. I chose this version as it's mainly for my work and multitasking capabilities. I like that unfolded it has two 5.5 inch screens. I do however, wish that there was an s-pen and they would do two 6.5 inch screens to live up to the ultra name. However, all in all my productivity has increased, for my work I have to review a lot of work and research so reading and multitasking is bar none the best I experienced on a phone. I hope they can add the 3 horizontal windows from the regular fold 8. Make sure you research a good case the phone is fragile compared to the slab phones. The battery has been impressive so far and lasts me almost the full day, we'll see in the long run. Responsiveness is good too.

Compare to the last 7 Fold series I own, this is the most lasting phone. I use it all day long with all activities including Internet search, checking email and playing games. It last me full day from 8am to 11pm. Usually I have to charge during 4/5pm for a little so it can last till the end of night, now a days I don't need to. Screen also have a big improvement, I can easily see much better under the sun compare to before. The middle crease also 95% disappeared which makes wating YouTube or playing games have a much better experience. Overall this is a great phone to own if you want a big screen experience.

I received my new phone in the mail ahead of schedule and switching everything from my old Fold 6 was so easy. As for the phone, this upgrade is incredible. The Fold 8 Ultra and as wide when folded as my Fold 6 is unfolded. It's noticeably faster when I'm playing games or loading pictures and videos or using AI editing, so lightweight, and picture quality is an impressive jump in quality. I chose the Fold line for my phone since the Fold 3 and can't imagine going back to standard phones ever again.

                  I just got this a few days ago but playing around and tweaking everything I'm quite happy with it went from s25 to this phone and it feels much more premium the camera looks better and it's just a great experience with the multiple screens the ability to change DPI within the regular menu would be a nice win overall but I've had a lot of fun tweaking and playing around with that overall quite happy with this phone

We've been using bar phones for years now and while I was skeptical at first about folding phones, I finally hit the point where I wished I had more screen space but in the same pocket able form factor. Like everyone else, I was skeptical about the crease. And there's no going around it, the crease does exist. But in my experience, you will not notice it if youre actively using the phone. Im sure it was more noticeable in previous iterations, but with the Fold8 Ultra, its barely noticeable. The two main reasons I bought this phone was for multi tasking and a larger screen size, and it greatly expands on what my S25 Ultra was capable of. The ability to rearrange 3 (the amount I've tried so far) apps around my screen really helps me get more things done at once. And the expanded screen size really helps me when I'm doing work by displaying the browser and web pages in a almost desktop browser like view. Yea I know "View in Desktop Mode" exists, but it doesn't work that well sometimes, at least for the pages I use for work. But the way my work stuff transitioned to the unfolded desktop mode really ironed out some frustrations I had with working on my phone.

My god was I wrong. The phone has gone so thin that when folded it is the same thickness as a single screen of the fold 4. I chose the fold specifically for multitasking purposes for work on top of all the gaming, video surfing, and reading manhwas. Been using the AI feature such as the generative image using photos just taken from camera ever since getting the phone and it hasn't stopped being the talk in the group. I've been on the Z Fold train since the Z Fold 6 and then I ended up with the Z Fold 7, and now I have the Z Fold 8 ultra which I'm stoked about. But I'm extremely extremely disappointed that the Z Fold 7 and the Z Fold 8 ultra do not have S.Pen compatibility, that's my biggest complaint that I have and really my only complaint that I have. I'm insanely disappointed that the Z Fold 8 does not have the S.Pen support, and I'm praying that you guys will bring it back and I want an internal spot to store the s.Pen and the Z fold will be complete in my opinion.

But after using the 8 ultra, I'm fully satisfied that I chose to upgrade. I've been using the fold 8 ultra constantly all morning long and I'm only at 88% at 1pm. The fold 7 would have been at 50%. The subtle angling Samsung added to the exterior makes it much easier to open. No more needing to dig your fingernails in the middle of the phone! The hinge feels stronger, more responsive, and of course the screen crease is hard to find. The anti reflective coating on the inside hides it even more! So many quality of life improvements, very good phone

I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable!                   Came from a galaxy note 20 ultra to z fold 8 ultra, I am completely amazed with this new phone. Still getting used to the folding aspect of the phone. I thought I wouldn't open the phone as much, but I find myself constantly opening it and switching to fold and unfold. The battery life is amazing, I can almost go 2 full days without the phone dying.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgrading from Galaxy Z Fold 6, this was a huge step up for me. I am an engineer working in design field by profession. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. However, with the deals, the bundle, and the specs, I ultimately got the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. What I'm trying to say is that this new phone is completely another level—the feel in your hand, its lightweight, thin design, and everything else. Do your research, find the right phone, and enjoy. After using it, I am extremely impressed. The foldable design is excellent. The phone feels premium and solid, and the large inner display completely changes the experience when multitasking, watching videos, reading documents, checking emails, or working with several apps. Being able to open the phone and instantly have that much additional screen space is incredibly useful.

I use my phone for both work and personal use, and the larger inner display makes multitasking, emails, documents, and everyday apps much easier to manage. When I’m not working, the big screen is also excellent for watching videos, browsing, and social media. I was a little unsure about switching to a foldable at first, but the phone feels polished, fast, and surprisingly natural to use. I especially like having the convenience of a normal phone while still being able to open it up when I need more screen space.                   Having to be a Samsung user for over 2 decades, the AI features is surprisingly good. But in comparison with the previous One plus Open (years older) the samsung galaxy z ultra 8 is subpar for its camera quality and intuitiveness. The screen quality is also less. I have not tested its durability since I just got it for a few days. But the body durability and built seems soft. The battery also run out faster even on stand by. It heats up a bit when plugged. The hinge fold and crease is good. The performance is really good. The phone starts up fast.

                  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Fold 8 Ultra for a week after upgrading from my S25 Ultra, and I am loving the multitasking capabilities of this phone. When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I've used many different phones over the years and always felt an issue of not having enough screen space for my multitasking and gaming. The fold 8 ultra solves this problem for me easily! The flexibility to have a big screen unfolded, while also having a super comfortable one-handed experience when it's folded is unmatched. I need a phone like this because I do a lot of business work, gaming, etc. Anything I need this phone to do, it can do it easily with plenty of space.                   [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first attempt at a folding phone was a Microsoft Surface Duo. Since then I've owned almost every single version of the Zfold series. They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. This has been by far the best one!

I love that it fit in my pocket but i kept misplacing it. Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.
