I love that it snaps open easier and opens all the way without needing to be forced. And I really love that the crease is not felt by running a finger over it. Foldables are great for everyday use and multitasking. I don't intend to go back to regular bar phones; I'm so spoiled!

We've been using bar phones for years now and while I was skeptical at first about folding phones, I finally hit the point where I wished I had more screen space but in the same pocket able form factor. Like everyone else, I was skeptical about the crease. And there's no going around it, the crease does exist. But in my experience, you will not notice it if youre actively using the phone. Im sure it was more noticeable in previous iterations, but with the Fold8 Ultra, its barely noticeable. The two main reasons I bought this phone was for multi tasking and a larger screen size, and it greatly expands on what my S25 Ultra was capable of. The ability to rearrange 3 (the amount I've tried so far) apps around my screen really helps me get more things done at once. And the expanded screen size really helps me when I'm doing work by displaying the browser and web pages in a almost desktop browser like view. Yea I know "View in Desktop Mode" exists, but it doesn't work that well sometimes, at least for the pages I use for work. But the way my work stuff transitioned to the unfolded desktop mode really ironed out some frustrations I had with working on my phone.

Been using the Fold 8 Ultra since launch. Love the light weight. Very thin and easy to hold. The battery life is great. Much better than the previous Fold 7.

It's a excellent engineering masterpiece insanely sleek and taking this genuine beauty amazes you every time you pick it up, it's made so rugged but it seems so delicate every time I use it, out of all my Z Folds I used undoubtedly this is by far the best fold. I am sure that Samsung and it's team will continue to amaze us with the coming up Fold series, I am very eager to see what more can be done to upgrade the existing Fold 8 Ultra as it already feels like a Glass sheet to use as a phone. Had this phone for a week and it doesn't disappoint. Battery life is way better then my S24 Ultra. I utilize the large screen daily and is super durable

Came from a galaxy note 20 ultra to z fold 8 ultra, I am completely amazed with this new phone. Still getting used to the folding aspect of the phone. I thought I wouldn't open the phone as much, but I find myself constantly opening it and switching to fold and unfold. The battery life is amazing, I can almost go 2 full days without the phone dying.

My Fold 6 had a noticeably less prominent crease than previous versions, and the Fold 8 feels even more durable and refined in that area. Performance is another major improvement. The internal storage is extremely fast, making streaming, downloading, and everyday multitasking feel seamless. The dual-screen functionality is especially useful for productivity on the go. I’ve taken work trips where I barely needed to open my laptop because my phone handled nearly everything I needed to get done. Overall, the Fold continues to become a more capable, durable, and practical device with each generation.

I had the first generation and the third, fifth, and seventh. I can unequivocally state that the 8 Ultra is what us foldies have been asking for. The display is sharper that previous models and it runs anything I throw at it. Gaming, AI, Google Sheets, 3 bank apps at once; you name it I've tried it. The camera is wonderful and am glad I can trust it to take amazing pictures. The thinness makes this feel like I am using a regular brick phone but expandable! The Display is probably my favourite part, its big and bright and makes watching videos and multitasking much better. Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

In my research for the next perfect phone, I came close to purchasing something outside of the Samsung ecosystem, something international, and something completely different. I highly recommend the Fold 8 and S26 Ultra, but for my lifestyle, nothing works better for me than the Z Fold 8 Ultra. I chose Galaxy Z fold 8 ultra for mobility yet having the flexibility to be productive on the go. Also the portable big screen for entertainment or presentation was a deal breaker for me. From showing a plan on site to the clients to watching videos and reading articles, there is hands down no other phone with the best battery life, crisp screen, slim design and vivid colorful high res screens. I chose the violet shadow color which I absolutely love. It's dark and now too flashy, perfect for my taste. I just love the phone!

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

The flexibility to have a big screen unfolded, while also having a super comfortable one-handed experience when it's folded is unmatched. I need a phone like this because I do a lot of business work, gaming, etc. Anything I need this phone to do, it can do it easily with plenty of space. I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

They just keep getting better and more durable. I chose the Zfold 8 Ultra as an upgrade to my Zfold 7 because of the extra battery capacity, the newer CPU, the better camera, the better screens (love the more matte look over the shiny), and an ever better hinge. Most of the time, I only use the front screen, but if I want to show off a family picture, or zoom in on an article, I just unfold the phone. Most people are absolutely amazed and ask me what the phone is called. The phone size fits well in my back pocket.

The Vodafone store even told me I was the first person to pick one up from them, which was pretty cool! The phone is incredibly fast and smooth, especially when multitasking. The camera has been a big improvement and takes great photos and videos. The crease is also much less noticeable. I’ve also been impressed with the AI capabilities. There are plenty of useful features that actually make everyday tasks easier rather than just feeling like a gimmick. I’m very happy with the upgrade, I've had the fold 1, 2, 5 and now the 8 ultra. Going from the fold 6 to the fold 8 ultra is a huge game changer, bigger cover screen, super slim design, and even better cameras has been such a gamechanger for me. The 200 megapixel main shooter takes amazing photos, and the software enhancement to the pictures is also super impressive. The cover screen of the device is no longer skinny, but a normal sized screen that is way easier to use. I can't recommend this device enough, especially to people who own an older foldable, or just to the everyday person considering this form factor!

Also the screen size wasnt optimal when it was closed. I chose the z fold 8 ultra because of it size when closed for easy access. However when i look at the unfolded screen I get a big smile on my face. The screen is beautiful. I love how when navigating different it splits the open apps and the available apps on different sides of the screen. I just received it and am in love with it. It also has the key plus functionality for my car so i can use my phone as a touchless key. I love love love it.

Easy to grab and has a nice snap feel. The only reason I didnt grab the last year model was because of the battery and the fast charge capability. But now this new phone has 45 watt charge speed and 5000 mAh, just like the S26 ultra. And they werent lying about the improvements they made to the inner screen. You can barely see the crease and it has anti reflection on it too. Being able to also multi-task with google and notes is amazing. I will be sticking with this phone for as long as I can.

It is my 4th upgrade in a row, starting from the Fold 5 and now a days it feels pretty much impossible to me go back to a regular one-screened format phone, not to even think of changing to another brand. Na enjoy ko ang pag navigate ng mga apps. Tatlong open apps sabay sabay ay kayang kaya, hindi ma compromised ang mga apps. Linaw din ng screen. Then i check camera.. linaw ng mga shots.. dun ko tiningnan sa malaking screen.. at talang nag enjoy ako pag zoom in at zoom out ng mga pictures kasi ang detailed. Ang comppact ng pag kka build kahit ibulsa i think kahit sa maong pants ay ok lang.. i love the ultra version kasi mahilig talaga akong mag open ng multiple apps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose the fold 8 ultra because I was using a 24 ultra before, and didn't want to lose too much of camera quality. So far the experience has been great. Still trying to get used to the small front screen (compared to the 24U) and doing more mult app tasks. There is a learning curve to use the big inner screen. The phone is very slim, even with a case, it is almost the same size as the 24U. Battery life is great, as good as my 24U. Gaming is beautiful. Pair with a mobile controller (like a Gamesir G8+) you got a great handheld device. Great job Samsung. Keep improving the fold line and there will be a lot more customers switching from IOS to Android.

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came from the Fold7. I wasn't sure if the upgrade would be worth it, but despite how incremental it is, it makes for a far more complete device! The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!
