Tremendous upgrade from the Galaxy Z Fold 4 to Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra has caused a big difference. The form factor is amazing with a slimmer profile. The camera is superb with the new 200 MP wide camera gives out beautiful pictures. I've had the Z Fold8 Ultra for a few weeks now. I upgraded from the Fold6. I'm happy with the upgrade. The Fold8 Ultra is light, thin and powerful. The cameras are magnificent, battery life is great and I love the size of the main screen when opened. I do miss the S-Pen I had with the previous Fold6. The only complaint is the thickness of the camera. It protruding out of the main body quite a bit and makes it difficult or on some charger impossible to correctly place on wireless charger pads. I opted for an integrated magsafe case and upgraded my charging pads in home, office and vehicle to magsafe compatible fast chargers and have not looked back.

Performance is also really smooth, apps open fast and I havent noticed much lag so far. Battery life has been pretty good for me, although heavy use does drain it quicker like you would expect. The Hinge feels solid and the overall Durability seems good, but I still find myself being a bit careful with a foldable phone. Overall I like it a lot, especially for work and multitasking. Its expensive but if you actually use the big screen then I think it makes more sense.

Came from a galaxy note 20 ultra to z fold 8 ultra, I am completely amazed with this new phone. Still getting used to the folding aspect of the phone. I thought I wouldn't open the phone as much, but I find myself constantly opening it and switching to fold and unfold. The battery life is amazing, I can almost go 2 full days without the phone dying.

When it's folded, I actually enjoy the narrower aspect of the cover screen that doesn't feel too wide in my hand. When it's unfolded, I can use the screen real estate for productivity by having both email and calendar open side by side, or I can use it for watching sport and talking rubbish with my friends at the same time. Very happy with my first foldable, and I feel like this is going to have a similar effect on me as the first time I started using dual displays with my PC: can't go back to one screen now.

I have had the samsung flip 4, flip 6 and just upgraded to flip 8. I have loved all of them. The samsung flip 8 is thinner and the display is really sharp. Although I have not had much time with it, I am enjoying it so far. There does seem to be a few bugs I am having to work out which I have never experienced before. I am not very good with technology so it is taking me some time with the help of AI. The phone shows that it is off line sometimes and the airplane mode comes on. That has been frustrating. All in all, I hope to work out the bugs and enjoy this phone as much as my previous flip phones.

I just received my z fold 8 ultra yesterday, the battery seems to drop quite fast when watching videos and multitasking. The hinge seems durable. The phone seems more responsive than my s25. The crease is almost invisible. Even though I have just received it yesterday, the phone seems quite durable. However, this phone is a tad heavier than my S25, I'm not quite used to it yet. It is a trade off for productivity tho. One thing that quite bother me is the quality of the speaker. I'm trading the featherweight s25 with nice speaker for a z fold 8 ultra with a huge potential of productivity and a great camera. I hope this is a good trade

The hinge mechanism is far smoother and easier to open. The screen brightness boost makes a big difference (as does the anti-reflective layer on the inner screen) and the ultra wide camera upped to 50px really does make for more detailed photos. The faster charging is great too, I really notice it when in a rush to top up (though the battery is lasting longer already, the extra MAh really help). Plus the Shadow Green colourway is gorgeous. My favourite colour anyway, so it was a no brainer!

Only negative so far is the media apps like netflix amazon and disney really need a update for a pinch to zoom function as it is small big widescreen bars or zoomed in to full screen and missing most of the sides there needs to be a nice inbetween screen please add this! I know the fold 8 has better viewing screen but as the flagship fold i feel this is missing. However so far everyone i show this phone too literally says wow when i unfold it!

As this is my first foldable phone, there has definitely been a bit of a learning curve, but it's been a positive experience overall. The larger inner screen is fantastic for browsing, reading emails, multitasking and watching videos. The foldable design took a little time to get used to, but it's quickly become second nature. Performance has been excellent, and the battery life is good, I can get a day and half with normal usage. Which is better than my old phone. Overall, I'm very impressed and would recommend it to anyone considering their first foldable phone.

I just wanted a flip phone after look on reviews of the 7 then the 8 came out so i just pulled the trigger. Overall its just an flip 7 upgraded for this year My only major complaints are the slow charging speeds considering the new battery tech as well as the phone generates alot of heat when charging, playing games and taking video. The front screen is nice just to check what to ignore and what to open the phone for. Although i wish it could rotate the screen. Even with all of that I've been enjoying the phone for the purpose i bought it which is to use my phone less. If you're considering purchasing this phone first ask yourself why then try and get it at a discount via trade in or promo because i just got mine for less then 1k after trading in my s23

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra honestly feels like the first foldable where Samsung finally stopped making compromises. Unfolding it is a total treat the inner crease is practically invisible now, and both screens get so ridiculously bright that you can actually use it outside in bright sunlight without squinting. It's surprisingly thin and comfortable to hold, but what really blew me away was the battery life; it actually lasts through a full, heavy day without me needing to hunt for a charger. Throw in a super snappy processor and a 200MP camera that takes incredible shots, and it easily earns its spot as the best phone I've ever used for multitasking and gaming.

Battery, on the first day, you are setting up everything and there seems to be a significant improvement. Display is definitely brighter and less reflective. Hinge is really snappy to open and much easier (though no problem with fold 7 either). One thing I love about one UI is the responsiveness of the whole UI compared to Magic OS (I have a V6 too). Time will tell on Durability but the fold 7 was perfect for a year, so no reason to doubt the ultra. Speakers are great for such a thing device.

I saw the major improvement to front screen aspect ratio and thickness in the Z Fold 7 and was super keen. Z Fold 8 Ultra continued the upgrades and made the crease less noticeable so I immediately pre ordered. Been using it for 2 weeks now and even my partner, who's using a non-android device (iykyk) is jealous. Super happy but also super excited at the direction samsung folds are going. The standard Fold 8 also doesnt fall far behind so I'm keen to try that a few generations in.

Screens are very responsive and good resolution. OS is very fast and responsive even with the fold/unfold requiring everything on the screen to change modes. Very smart to have front facing cameras on both screens. Room for improvement; a little hard to open the fold without tapping things on the small screen, perhaps a finger gap to open would be better. In the open screen mode the keyboard doesn't make use of the middle of the fold which makes it a bit hard to open. Overall this might be the time to go Fold if you are considering it.

Got my Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra in the online exclusive color - Green Shadow, which looks more stunning in-person!! It is super thin and light, just like a regular phone when closed, great tablet screen (no crease so far), powerful multitasking with top performance, and two-day battery life. The phone is also water resistance and has a pretty good set of cameras. Loving the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra so far!! What an upgrade from my old Galaxy S23 Ultra!! Plus wala na siyang glare from mga lights. Hindi na nagrereflect.Hindi nadin halata ang crease niya as in parang wala na talaga. Mas smooth na gamitin specially kong e unfold mo. Mas mataas ang durability level nito kasi mas matibay na yong flex hinge nya, mas may peace of mind ka na while using the device.. Very responsive with its 120hz. Plus naka 5000mah na yong battery. With 30mims. naka 65% kana din nang battery so less waiting time sa pag charge.

Could never get my head round it. Now a much improved and decent camera. The screen is improved and the fold barely visible. Although, to be honest, it didn't really bother me.The fold in the fold seven. It folds away much neater and feels a lot better quality than the seven. The battery fuels like it last slightly longer.Although on my previous fold seven , the battery still seemed okay. Would I recommend it?Yes, I would.It just feels a lot better phone all round.

I needed a desktop PC replacement as my partner was recently disabled and I have had to be with her and on my PC at the same time. Having this phone allows me to be on call and able to do almost everything that I do on the PC. The display is fantastic, the build feels sturdy and the hinge is strong. The battery seems good, haven't gone below 50% and I only charge overnight. Charging was iffy at first but, with the right plug and cable, it seems fine now. Overall I'm really pleased with the phone.

I had a Fold 4 which I loved, but the crease, weight and thickness pushed me to the S24 Ultra at upgrade time. Now instead of the s26 Ultra, I just got the Fold 8 Ultra and it's soo good to be back! The crease is virtually gone, it's lighter, it's impossibly thin, more durable internal screen, bigger battery, brighter screen, flagship chip, higher resolution, improved hinge, flex mode, cover screen preview..almost perfect! My only complaint is the lack of fold pen support which was great on the Fold 4. I get it might have been difficult with how thin the device is and it's not a deal breaker, but it would have been a nice bonus. Great job Samung and thanks for the awesome trade in bonus!

The display is incredibly bright and looks amazing, even under strong lighting. One of the first things I noticed was how easy it is to see everything clearly. The horizontal lock and Fan Cam features were the most convincing reasons for me. Since I'm into social media and vlogging, those features feel genuinely useful and make creating content much easier. I also like the bigger battery and the faster charging speeds. They're practical upgrades that make the phone even more appealing. Another thing that really stood out is the crease.
